Instructional Designer Westfield Insurance Commercial Lines Resource Center has an immediate need for an Instructional Designer This individual will be responsible for the development and design of training curriculum for policy processing. After partnering with subject matter experts (SME's), the Instructional Designer designs a variety of different training/development programs using accepted design methodology. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Analysis of learner, tasks, and needs - Design of presentation, application and feedback phases of instruction - Development of a learning strategy and employment of adult learning - Evaluation of pre and post course evaluation instruments Additional responsibilities include researching industry best practices, delivering selected training/development programs to company employees. The instructional Designer will assist with the development of training options for employees who require performance improvement plans and will serve as an ongoing corporate resource for training and development initiatives. Requirements - Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of three years of corporate training experience (with emphasis on curriculum design), or a minimum of 10 years commensurate experience in training and curriculum design, - Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills, organizational/time management skills. - Proficient experience is required using software packages (including, but not limited to, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, CAMTASIA, OUTSTART and Visio) - Ability to manage changing priorities and multiple assignments. - Preference will be given to candidates with Commercial insurance industry experience and related designations or certifications.
